1. Overview

This policy explains what data OHBump collects when it's added to a Discord server, why, and how it's handled. OHBump is a server-discovery bot — most of what it stores is server-level configuration, not personal profiles of individual members.

2. Information we collect

OHBump stores data per Discord server (identified by its Discord server/guild ID), including:

All of this is submitted directly through Bot commands by server admins or members — we don't scrape or monitor message content beyond what's explicitly typed into a command or form.

3. Information we don't collect

4. How we use it

Data is used to operate the features described in these pages: building and distributing bump cards, enforcing cooldowns, running the partner exchange, tracking badge progress, sending reminders, and handling moderation and appeals. We don't sell server or user data, and we don't use it for advertising outside of OHBump's own network.

5. Storage & security

Data is stored in a database operated on our behalf by a third-party hosting/database provider, with reasonable technical safeguards in place. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

Server configuration and activity data is retained for as long as OHBump remains in that server, so its bump history, badges, and settings persist across restarts. If OHBump is removed from a server, its stored record may be retained for a period to handle re-additions and moderation history, then eventually deleted or anonymized. [Fill in: specific retention period if you want to commit to one.]

7. Sharing with third parties

We share data only as necessary to operate the Bot:

We don't sell or rent server or user data to third parties.

8. Your rights & deletion

Server admins can view and update most stored configuration directly with /config view and related commands. To request deletion of a specific server's stored data, or a specific user's rating/report record, contact us using the details below. [Fill in: how deletion requests are verified and how long they take to process — and consider adding a self-serve /request-data-delete-style command if you want this handled without needing to contact support.]

9. Children's privacy

OHBump is intended for use within Discord, which requires users to meet Discord's own minimum age requirements. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age outside of the normal course of operating on Discord's platform.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Bot's features change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

11. Contact

Privacy questions or data requests can be sent to [fill in: support email or Discord support server invite].
